Hi, my name is Halei! I am currently the only contributor to Book Sass. I'm 21 years old and I live in Ohio. I've always loved reading and can usually be found with a book in hand. I'm also very passionate about creative writing, music, and special effects makeup. This blog is a place for me to review books—of many different genres—and share my thoughts with other book enthusiasts.

I will always give an honest and thorough review as this is something I feel strongly about. My reviews will also typically contain spoilers unless marked spoiler-free.

Rating System:

5 Stars - This book/series will have a special place in my heart until the day I die.
4 Stars - Good book that I definitely recommend.
3 Stars - I equally like and dislike this book.
2 Stars - I won't be reading this again or continuing the series.
1 Star - I've wasted precious time and will not be recommending this book to anyone that I even remotely care about.
